Ford Galaxy - First Class Travel

mustard-berlin is producing and directing another project for Wunderman & Ford over at Park Royal Studios in North London. The project is a stills campaign for internet and print featuring the new Ford Galaxy. The campaign tag line is “First Class Travel”. Were shooting in collaboration with car photographer Graham Thorp. It’s a 3 day studio shoot and we will be lighting with a  mixture of flash and tungsten. Shooting on the Canon D1s mkII.

The hero shots from the campaign are being shot as lots of separate elements that will be brought together in post-production by Kai at The Operators.

We’ll upload the final photography in the near future so check our media gallery in the coming weeks.

UPDATE: The photos from the Galaxy shoot are now online. You can view them online on the Ford UK site or here as a slideshow.

From urban gangster tales to comical stalkers, picking the winners was tough but the award winners were:

  • Harmeet Dhiraj – best camerawork
  • Daniel Owen, Jyoti Mann, Manraj Kaur Malli- best editing
  • Junior Oyekan, Tyrrell Kadeem-Clement – best directing

mustard-berlin is working on another project for Wunderman & Ford. On friday (19th of Feb) we were filming over at Park Royal Studios in North London. The setup involved suspending 2 kids, Henry and Elizabeth from Scallywags, off the floor. We worked with a wire rig to get them raised up and to create a floating, bobbing look and feel. The final film will show them floating in a white space held aloft by 2 helium balloons. Which will be added in post by the clever people at UNIT.

The lighting setup was a mixture of Briese (100 focus HMI), Arri 1.2k MSR and tungsten. We filmed with a 2 camera setup using the Canon 5D mkII at 30fps and the Canon 7D for 50fps.

We’ll upload the final film in the near future so check our media gallery in the coming weeks.

UPDATE: The Balloonist film is now online and can be viewed here.

mustard-berlin has just produced and directed another project for Wunderman. We shot two short web ads for Ford, filmed on location in North London and in the Spectracom green screen studio in Greenwich. We had the good fortune of working with martial arts expert and stunt woman Chloe Bruce when filming on location near Finsbury Park and with actor Simon Tcherniak in the studio.

We’ll upload the final films in the near future so check our media gallery in the coming weeks.
